On 25th of September was a huge event called European Researchers’ Night 2015. We came to this event for the 3rd time in the last 4 years. In our stand in Atrium Optima, Košice we introduced First Lego League and of course robotics in general.
The show lasted from 9 am to 9 pm, when visitors could see our robot from the last years of the FLL competition in action and they had the opportunity to try controlling the robot with the wireless controller.
Next, we were showing our research project from the last year of the FLL competition, called Fencing Master – the intelligent fencing platform. People were interested mainly by its design and the communication with computer. Simultaneously, the event allowed us to test our project through the all day use, with the estimated amount of more than 10 000 hits.
Besides the other things we convinced the visitors about the importance of teamwork and they could try their skills on the fields of task management, spatial imagination and cooperation.

The Researchers’ Night took place in five Slovak cities. The event in Slovakia was attended by nearly 200 000 visitors. More information: Európska Noc výskumníkov.
